Susan P. Lloyd

Susan P. Lloyd, MFA, is adjunct faculty in the contemporary dance division at Brigham Young University. Before teaching in higher education, Susan began her career dancing professionally with the Alwin Nikolais/Murray Louis Dance Company in New York City. Mrs. Lloyd received an MFA from the University of Utah and her BS from Utah State University. Susan is passionate about establishing a sense of community and joy in the classroom. She has been on faculty at universities and colleges throughout the intermountain west; including: Las Positas College, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, and Weber State University. Susan and her family live at the foot of Y Mountain.

Kori Wakamatsu
Kori Wakamatsu

Kori Wakamatsu, MA, is an associate professor at Brigham Young University in the Contemporary Dance area. Before entering higher education, she taught junior high and high school in the Utah public school system. She is an advocate for dance in public schools. She received her MA in dance from California State University, Long Beach; a theatre endorsement from the University of Utah; and a BA in dance education from Brigham Young University. She has worked on collaborative projects such as the “Thought of You” animation, The Nightingale play, and the “Provo Sites” mobile dance series.
